Cleaning

We are doing some major cleaning in our place this weekend.  We are having the downstairs painted on Tuesday so we have to get everything off the walls, fill in all the holes and clean the walls.  Plus we have to move all the furniture so that it is all away from the walls.  Right now there is no place to sit downstairs because the couches are pushed together and they are covered will all the stuff that was on the walls.  Tomorrow we get to start sanding and cleaning.  Oh how fun.  At least when it is all done with our downstairs will be so much brighter and cleaner.  Then we have to start on the upstairs.  We are doing that ourselves so that we can do one room at a time.  That will make things a little easier for us.  Either way it is still a major project and is going to take quite a while to finish.  Especially when neither of us really have any time to work on it.  But we will get it done. No worries there.  One good thing is that we are giving this place a thorough cleaning.  It needs it severely. We are also going to be doing some major purging of our stuff.  We have too much crap sitting around and we don't have room for it any more.  So we are getting rid of a lot of stuff. It will be nice to be able to walk through my house without tripping over stuff that is falling out of closets.
