Someone Cares

When someone cares to share my joy, I brighten up inside,
When someone cares to hear my heart, I gratefully confide.
When someone cares to lift me up when routines may seem dull,
When someone cares to strengthen me, my days can be so full.
Then I can give to someone else with spirit still to share,
And I may bless another life when I know someone cares.

Because you cared to give yourself and helped along my way,
The joy you gave me yesterday is mine to give today.
I’ll listen more within my heart as burdens may unfold,
A loving touch, a helping hand, to share a heavy load.
And I may bless another life when I know someone cares.

And when we bring to life our love, the circle will begin,
For what we choose to give away, comes back to us again.
We’re doping what our Savior taught; take time to feed His sheep,
We’re caring for each other well, the circle is complete.
Then I can give to someone else with spirit still to share,
And I may bless another life when I know someone cares.
